IEEE Security and Privacy Symposium 2025

Event Details

SPHERE Research Infrastructure participated in IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (IEEE S&P) in San Francisco, CA on May 12-15, 2025. IEEE S&P is one of the flagship conferences organized by the IEEE Technical Committee on Security and Privacy (TCSP), which promotes excellence in security and privacy research. They’ve been the premier forum for presenting developments in computer security and electronic privacy, and for bringing together researchers and practitioners in the field.

During the event, Community Outreach Director David Balenson shared SPHERE’s mission to advance reproducible, scalable, and sophisticated cybersecurity experimentation through a poster presentation introducing the SPHERE project. They engaged with the research community to discuss infrastructure needs and demonstrated how SPHERE’s flexible, user-driven platform supports cutting-edge research, education, training, and evaluation—aligning with TCSP’s commitment to advancing the state of security and privacy science.
