USC Information Sciences Institute is proud to welcome this summer’s cohort of SPHERE interns and Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) students. A total of 33 students are joining across the two programs.

The SPHERE interns span three locations and a virtual cohort: 13 interns are joining onsite in Marina del Rey, CA; two at Northeastern University in Boston, MA; three at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT; and five working virtually.

Alongside them, 10 REU students are working onsite in Marina del Rey, gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity and privacy research.

These students chose to dedicate their summer to tackling hard problems in cybersecurity and privacy research — and we take that seriously. We are committed to making this a summer worth their time.
