Security and Privacy Heterogeneous Environment for Reproducible Experimentation

SPHERE 2025 CPS Hardware Delivery

by SPHERE

Exciting new addition to SPHERE’s testbed infrastructure!

After months of planning and anticipation, our CPS (Cyber-Physical Systems) hardware has arrived! The SPHERE Research Infrastructure team is hard at work installing and integrating the new equipment–advancing the development of the SPHERE CPS enclave.

This marks a major step forward in enabling hands-on, reproducible cybersecurity experimentation for critical infrastructure, including water treatment plants and the power grid. The CPS enclave aims to provide emulated environments of critical public infrastructure to test and verify security protocols of its systems. With the hardware now on-site, we’re one step closer to empowering researchers to tackle today’s most pressing cybersecurity challenges.

We’re excited to see what innovations this next phase will unlock!
