Learning from Authoritative Security Experiment Results Workshop 2025
Event Details
SPHERE is looking forward to participating in the Learning from Authoritative Security Experiment Results (LASER) Workshop, to be held in conjunction with the Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC) on December 9, 2025, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The LASER workshop series focuses on learning from and improving cybersecurity experiment results by fostering interactive discussions on experimental methods and results, ultimately driving improvements in scientific rigor and reporting.
At this year’s workshop, Community Outreach Director David Balenson will engage with the community to better understand evolving research needs and share how SPHERE supports secure, flexible, and repeatable experimentation in cybersecurity and privacy.
SPHERE aligns with the LASER workshop’s mission by enabling reproducible cybersecurity experimentation that advances scientific rigor and transparency. By supporting research in areas such as ICS security, IoT behavior and privacy, AI-driven network defense, and multi-fidelity evaluation, SPHERE offers a robust platform that can contribute valuable insights and methodologies to the LASER community’s effort to improve experimental quality and reporting in cybersecurity.
