Annual Computer Security Applications Conference 2025
Event Details
SPHERE Research Infrastructure is planning to participate in the Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC) taking place in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 8-12, 2025. This conference is a long-standing forum for cutting-edge applied research, bringing together experts from academia, industry, and government to explore practical solutions to today’s most pressing cybersecurity and privacy challenges.
ACSAC is an international event focused on practical computer and network security solutions. It features peer-reviewed research papers, case studies, expert panels, and workshops that address current cybersecurity and privacy challenges, drawing participation from academia, industry, and government. SPHERE Research Infrastructure plans to contribute by sharing SPHERE’s reproducible cybersecurity experimentation technology that aids in privacy research.
Principal Investigator Jelena Mirkovic and Community Outreach Director David Balenson will attend ACSAC to engage with the cybersecurity community on shared research infrastructure needs and to highlight how SPHERE can support reproducible, scalable, and ethically grounded experimentation. Their participation supports ACSAC’s broader focus on advancing practical and scientifically rigorous approaches to computer and network security.
