Welcome to our 2025 Summer Interns!

We’re excited to welcome a new cohort of talented students to the SPHERE summer internship program! This year, we’ve grown to 17 interns based in both Marina del Rey, CA, and at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Our interns will be collaborating with the SPHERE development team on a range of initiatives spanning infrastructure, cyber-physical systems (CPS), IoT, and project management. Their work will include supporting testbed systems, building software tools and interfaces, enhancing networking and deployment processes, configuring hardware, and contributing to SPHERE’s website and automation efforts.

These students represent a wide range of institutions from across the country, including Bradley University, Cedarville University, Central Connecticut State University, Clarkson University, CSU Long Beach, CSU Sacramento, CSU San Luis Obispo, Harvey Mudd College, Loyola University Chicago, Texas Tech University, UC Santa Cruz, University of Maryland Baltimore County, University of Minnesota Duluth, and University of South Florida.
